Military Roots, Real Estate Hustle

Ant’s journey into real estate began not from opportunity, but from adversity. As an active-duty Navy sailor, he was broke and in debt — but a trusted local agent, Bernie Bristol, saw something in him. “You care about people. You’d be a great agent,” she told him. That moment launched a new mission.

Today, as a Chief Selectee with 15 years in the Navy and CEO of The Stroud Group, Ant’s motto is simple: “Always family, never customers.” His leadership style, shaped by the military and fueled by his passion for service, is now transforming how real estate professionals approach growth, ethics, and education.

Industry Advocacy Starts With Showing Up

Ant is more than a top Jacksonville agent — he’s a voice in the room where change happens. He serves on the Board of Directors for NEFAR, Florida Realtors, and the Residential Real Estate Council of Florida. His insight into policy, professional standards, and industry evolution gives him — and his clients — a major edge.

“You can’t say you’re the best if you’re not in the room where decisions are being made,” Ant explains. Whether it's form changes, buyer-broker agreements, or MLS rule shifts, he's plugged in — and he challenges other agents to do the same.

Out of his passion for service came Agent From Abundance — a growing national resource hub for real estate agents to learn best practices, sharpen skills, and step into leadership. Inspired at Lee Brown’s speaker bootcamp and shaped by mentors like Kim Knapp, the platform curates insights from agents around the country to equip professionals at every level.

From designations like CRS to powerful listing consultations and hard conversations about commission, Ant is on a mission to raise the bar for the profession.

Serving Military Clients With Precision

Ant's expertise also extends to serving military families. He holds the MRP (Military Relocation Professional) designation and educates agents on how to guide active-duty buyers with nuance — from timelines and new construction to understanding VA loans, PCS orders, and the value of auxiliary units.

Military or not, Ant’s approach always starts with the end in mind: “What’s your life plan? What’s your exit strategy?” That mindset shifts transactions into tailored, long-term solutions.
