What Foreclosure Agents Actually Had to Do #shorts

Renters living in homes nobody was paying for.
Tracy Frandsen on the reality of working foreclosures.
"Sometimes I felt like I worked for Fannie Mae."

DESCRIPTION BODY (after "...more"):
During the foreclosure years, Tracy Frandsen worked directly with a Fannie Mae brokerage β€” and the job went far beyond listing homes.

She and her colleagues had to physically go in and assess each property. Sometimes the owner was still living there. Sometimes they'd left. A lot of the time, the home had renters in it who had no idea the owner had stopped paying the mortgage.

From there it was cleanouts, maintenance, and property-by-property decisions β€” sell as-is or make repairs, sometimes putting entire new roofs on. Her line says it best: some days it felt less like working for her brokerage and more like working for Fannie Mae directly.
